I’m Malaika (Muh-LAY-Kuh)

I’m a Kenyan-born NYC-based actress coming to a stage or screen near you! I graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Proudly bleeding orange in the big apple. While growing up in Texas, I was bit by the theatre bug in the life-changing (drumroll please)… Annie Jr.

It’s been history ever since. When I’m not kick-ball changing, 16-barring, or moment-to-momenting (verbs by moi). I’m probably nestled up with a good book, eating eggs, or working on my golf swing. Welcome to my site and make yourself at home!

As a Black woman, I strive to leave the industry more diverse than when I arrived. My mission is to use my perspective, skills, and voice to lead with love and impact through every project I touch. I am endlessly inspired by the Black artists who have been trailblazers for me and I can’t wait to be that for the next generation of young artists.
